untethered alchemy - press release
For release Immediate release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 20th, 2026
Lillian Leadbetter Releases “Untethered Alchemy,” is a meditation on manifestation, magic, desire, and transformation.
The lyrics explore both the beauty and tragedy associated with the limitation of living just one life. Torn between what is possible in our time on earth and the infinite possibilities of the universe, this song is a reminder that anything is possible, but in order to create something new, you may have to sacrifice what you already have.
Lillian draws melodic inspiration from the colorful meadows dotted with fireflies and verdant forests of Vermont, where she was born and raised. Recorded in Nashville, TN, the production and instrumentation was intentionally designed to embrace the acoustic sound of her youth and allow the track to playfully groove.”

lyrics
It came to me,
Untethered Alchemy
Like the wish you never dared to speak,
Comes alive and begins to breathe
Love built on faith,
A woven crown of Queen Anne’s Lace
That I knit with my own two hands,
In the field where the fireflies all dance
Can’t put my finger on what I want,
I’m still grievin’ what I’m not
And what I might never be,
Another version of me
Goin’ home,
To the end of a dirt road
Where I used to lay my head to sleep,
Had all of my nightmares and dreams
Dreams
